That's just from what I've read

And in general there is not enough research done on schizophrenics
Avatar
donkerhonker 4/8/2018 6:11 PM
That's actually based off inaccurate studies done by the British government, main bulk is regained in 4-5 days, entirely replenished in 2 weeks
Avatar
Based off experience I'd say that's fairly accurate but I just can't handle that shit anymore @donkerhonker
6:13 PM
Still though, taking too much can cause hemorrhaging and other awful things
Avatar
donkerhonker 4/8/2018 6:13 PM
I'm not trying to make a case to take it, but the often cited study was biased, there's been some pretty good recent studies on long term use
Avatar
So I think I've had my fun with it, considering almost all of that shit is dirty anyways
Avatar
donkerhonker 4/8/2018 6:13 PM
yea because its literally a neurotoxic
Avatar
Indeed and can down cycle seretonin production from another study I read

donkerhonker 4/8/2018 6:14 PM
3-7% damage in long term users
Avatar
Still better than bath salts I reckon
Avatar
donkerhonker 4/8/2018 6:14 PM
about half of these also heavy users of amphetamines, its much less than prior studies done on rats what estimated 75% decrease
6:15 PM
Yeah most things are better than bath salts

MDMA I’d want to use if it didn’t happen to damage
6:15 PM
It’s supposed to help those with ptsd
Avatar
I think some stuff like LSD and mushrooms are good for spiritual experiences
Avatar
lavenderfluffnstuff 4/8/2018 6:15 PM
And I really need that help
Avatar
Or at least, new perspectives

LSD created 2 of my tulpas lol

Which can lead to spiritual experiences

MDMA can help with PTSD and with schizophrenia as well
6:17 PM
Helps with feeling emotions, etc

And anxiety too

6:19 PM
Lol
6:20 PM
But I’m kinda spook of some of the druggos out there
6:20 PM
And I also don’t want another bad trip (edited)
6:20 PM
I have heard that shrooms helps with depression too
Avatar
@Beckett Schizophrenia is a disorder and disorders are detrimental to ones health so I’d have to answer no. Although, a lot of African cases of schizophrenia say that the voices they hear actually help them and are benevolent.
6:24 PM
This where the meta begins in one aspect of it. Schizophrenia is the U.S. is known to be self destructive in nature. In Africa, they are benevolent. And in Japan, mischievous. And all those directly correlate to the culture of spirits in that specific region
Avatar
Angel: I don't need you to explain what it is to me. I just wanted you to clarify if you agreed that it's good or not.
Avatar
I was merely using a further explanation to back up my opinion.
6:28 PM
Just having a philosophical discussion here with everyone. The further explanation was more for everyone else rather than just you.
6:31 PM
Going back, I’ve heard of people with schizophrenia in the U.S. going to places in Africa where they practice metaphysical concepts and have been able to ease the negative aspects of it and maintain that results.
Avatar
Angel: Source?
Avatar
I’ll try to find it. I just got home. It’s from an article so it’s purely anecdotal.
Avatar
Angel: Then don't worry about it.
6:36 PM
Angel: It looks like culture only affects auditory hallucinations, anyways, right?
Avatar
@lavenderfluffnstuff Shrooms really helps identify what’s causing ones depression but I’m pretty sure it’s not going to just take it all away like what most confuse it to do. I feel action is what really helps shrooms cure depression. Although, at the same time people micro dosing lsd/shrooms have reported the same thing without much action.
6:38 PM
But yeah Angel, that’s what I’ve read.
Avatar
Angel: Too bad there is a lot more to psychotic disorders than just auditory hallucinations.
Avatar
lavenderfluffnstuff 4/8/2018 6:42 PM
Shrooms are magic.
6:42 PM
Also yeah
Avatar
They really are
6:43 PM
I just tripped on shrooms for the first time a couple weeks ago
6:43 PM
Whole dose

Another really good article
6:52 PM
It all really makes me wonder if we could one day observe psychotic disorders in the nonphysical realm and see if there’s anything ‘unseen’ happening around that specific person. I.e. astral projecting in the real time zone and observing people with various disorders.
6:53 PM
It’s a bit of a stretch since there’s a goood amount of people in the metaphysical community who don’t believe in the concept of astral projecripn
6:53 PM
projection lol
6:53 PM
But in theory, it could produce some type of results
6:58 PM
I’m kind of mad at myself for just now getting on discord. I’ve thought a lot about metaphysical concepts and have had very few people to talk about it all to. It’s pretty rare when I do and when I do, people can be pretty dogmatic about it all

let's see
6:59 PM
Among the Wiradjeri of Australia, the shamanic neophyte becomes "enlightened" by being sprinkled with a "sacred powerful water" that is considered liquefied quartz. Eliade observes, "All this is as much as to say that one becomes a shaman when one is stuffed with 'solidified light,' that is, with quartz crystals." He suggests, "they feel a relation between the condition of a supernatural being and a superabundance of light."'The perception of the shaman as one who is giving off light, particularly in a "crown," an aura from the head, is also true of the Jivaro. The halo, which is multicolored, forms only when the shaman is in an ayahuasca-induced altered state of consciousness. It can only be seen by another shaman in a similar state of consciousness (see Plate 1). (edited)

😇 2
7:01 PM
I know of someone with that kind of halo, shit's cray
Avatar
Can you see it?
Avatar
kind of vaguely. I'm not super good at visualization
Avatar
Do you need to visualize it or can you see it for another reason other than trying to imagine something there?
Avatar
I'm still growing into this kind of things tbh but I'm fairly sure on this one
Avatar
Excuse me?
Avatar
in the sense that I don't do fine detail still but this is kinda, not v subtle
Avatar
I do not think that answered my question.
Avatar
you might need to restate it tbh
Avatar
They asked if you could visibly see the halo or is it a visualization thing?
Avatar
oh yeah, no I don't impose things
Avatar
What method do you use to see it?
Avatar
I just, focus on things? Direct my attention and intention
Avatar
Alright.
8:26 PM
A lot of humans project in more than just metaphysical ways, i think
8:26 PM
It's evident in all of our expression really.
8:26 PM
Think that's why metaphysics is so hard for most people - you have to stop expressing
8:26 PM
And just let it in sort of.
8:27 PM
Or at least, it's like that for me a bit. Like going into a trance-like state or whatever you want to call it, where it is no emotion, no bias, only observation
8:27 PM
Usually at that point I find that accuracy of being able to "see" depends highly upon the individuals visual experiences, and how creative their brain is
8:28 PM
Bc its basically like hooking up your brain to a new set of sensory information it's not used to interpreting....so things can get a little funky or "delusional" sometimes
8:28 PM
Based on personal errata in the brain, personality, and so, so many other factors
8:29 PM
This is why I want to get a damn ol' MRI and associated hardware and start an actual metaphysics lab/intstitute sort of thing. Come here, do your thing, wear my brain helmet
8:29 PM
I think it would certainly help science better understand what parts of the brain lead to spiritual experience, delusion, all sorts of things
Avatar
I mean, it's not like it's not already been done tbh
Avatar
I mean, seriously.
8:30 PM
And with lots of tests.
